  We have an event in it&#039;s second year in Abilene, TX called SPRINGBOARD IDEAS CHALLENGE. It is open to all 5 Universities in town plus all residents in Taylor County. The inaugural event in 2008 was very successful and we awarded $30,000 in prizes. This year the prize pool will be $40,000. Your accomplishments and your stimulus challenge put you in a great position to be our keynote speaker for the April 25 awards dinner. We expect 400 people in attendance and somewhere around 75 to 100 entries.
  We have the award money and expenses covered by businesses and friends, including Silicon Valley Bank in Santa Clara, CA. You are the perfect fit to be our feature speaker.
